The Light of the World

It's a New Year. The sun is shining, and the wind is blowing fiercely. I am sitting in bed writing this, listening and resting. All of this is my Self. I rest in all of It.

In these quiet moments, it is very easy to know my mind as a transparency for the One Mind, and to radiate this knowing as the Light of the World. As a New Year's resolution, a New Year's knowing, this is a highlight. I am resolved to remember the Oneness of All in 2008.

The dark times of forgetting will come, but they will be fewer and farther between. I am resolved to giving the currency of my time, attention, and resources to remembering. I am committed to resting in Oneness, instead of the habitual fascination with the fragments of self I have traditionally called me and my life. These imaginary fragments are nothing and nowhere. And I am committed to sharing this Awareness with you, my very Self.

I am the Light of the World, as you are. I am a holy transparency for the Allness of God, as I open my awareness to the Truth of Being. I am exactly what I need, what you need, what we all need. And so are you. We are the One we have been waiting for.

In 2008, my prayer for all is this re-membering of the One Self that we are. May we all accept our function as the Light of the World.
