It Really Is That Simple

We are Remembering

"Time is a created thing. To say, 'I don't have time,' is like saying, 'I don't want to." -- Lao Tzu

"Nothing is ever lost but time, which in the end is meaningless. Yet since you do believe in it, why waste it going nowhere, when it can be used to reach a goal as high as learning can achieve? To you who still believe you live in time and know not it is gone, the Holy Spirit still guides you through the infinitely small and senseless maze you still perceive in time, though it has long since gone." -- A Course in Miracles

Now you see it, now you don't. Remember the games we played as children, and that we play with our own children and grandchildren. Peek-a-boo? This is the way of time. Quantum physics describes it as the Complementary Principle. Everything winks on and off simply by being observed, by being seen in our own illusion-generating minds. Time was, time was not.

This definitely boggles the mind, but it is Truth. You wouldn't be reading this blog, would not have been drawn to it, if you didn't already know this at some deep level. We all long for what is Real and True, and yet we continue to give our time and attention and resources to the false and unreal. And we wonder why we suffer? This is insanity, and it is a collective insanity that we all have shared.

Time is for remembering Who We Are... and nothing else. Our only purpose is to Awaken. This requires the willingness to question everything we have believed, and to give every belief and illusion, every projected person, place and thing, EVERYTHING to the Holy Spirit to be forgiven and released... so we can at last have a clean and open space to remember.

The ego would say, "Ignorance is bliss. Be like everyone else. Be happy with what you have. Believe what keeps you a part of the world as you know it. Don't be so weird and crazy." But the Truth is, Remembering is bliss. Remembering that we live and move and have our Being in One Who is Pure Love and Light is all we have ever wanted. We simply forgot for a little while. And the lies of the separated, conditioned self that we call the ego would keep us walking through the nothingness dreams for an imagined eternity.

Thankfully this has not really happened. We are remembering. We are having this conversation. We are, step by step, giving our lives to what we really want. We are remembering Who We Are, and learning to Be True to only this.

"The Christ in you remembers God with all the certainty with which He knows His Love. God's Perfect Son remembers His Creation." -- A Course in Miracles
