"When you maintain that there must be an order of difficulty in miracles, all you mean is that there are some things you would withhold from Truth. You believe Truth cannot deal with them only because you would keep them from Truth. Very simply, your lack of faith in the Power that heals all pain arises from your wish to retain some aspects of reality for fantasy. If you but realized what this must do to your appreciation of the whole! What you reserve for yourself, you take away from Him Who would release you. Unless you give it back, it is inevitable that your perspective on reality be warped and uncorrected." -- A Course in Miracles; Chapter 17, Section I, 3:1-6
"Science reveals the possibility of achieving all Good, and sets mortals at work to discover what God has already done; but distrust of one's ability to gain the Goodness desired and to bring out better and higher results, often hampers the trial of one's wings and ensures failure at the outset." -- Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy; Page 260, Lines 13-18
Here is the only Fact: God is All. This means that God is not only the Source of All, but the Substance of All. This means that there is only Spirit, and only Truth, for as Jesus reminded us, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and in Truth." We are inextricably One with God, as the ray of sunlight is One with the Sun.
So when we are talking about God Who is Life without limits, without material definition, without a beginning or end, we are talking about the Omnipotence of God, which includes all the other omni's: Omniscience, Omnipresence, Omni-everything. "With God all things are possible." Not only possible, but all things live and move and have their Being in the Infinity that IS God.
Jesus appeared within this material dream to model our perfect Oneness with God, the embodiment of the qualities of God in the dream. These are not material qualities, but attributes of Being that constitute the Christ, the Son of God that we collectively are, and they transcend all seeming bodily or material phenomenon. Jesus demonstrated this over and over again. There is no order of difficulty in miracles, in shifting out of the material appearances of the dream... because there is no reality in the dream. Reality is what is reflected here when we remember Who We Are. Everything is else is illusion, the stuff of dreams... a dream populated by thought forms that come and go. What is Real does not come and go, but is eternally One and eternally Now.
So many of us continue to insist that we are flawed, that we don't know enough, that we haven't done enough, that we have to make something happen. So many of us use these habitual, psychotic stories of inadequacy and limitation to deny Reality, because we fear who and what we will be without them. We fear to let go of our imagined existence, because it keeps us oblivious to the enormity of Who We Really Are and have always Been. Our certainty of Hope is as sure as our Oneness with God.
