"The Truth is true, and nothing else is true." -- A Course in Miracles
I am late in posting this morning, according to my established pattern. I committed to having my blog posted before 8 a.m. every morning. So why am I late? Or is it possible to be late? What are these arbitrary rules, and how do they differ from what is true?
There are a millions tasks we set ourselves each day. There are a million more the world around us seems to demand. None of these are true... they are simply agreements we make that keep the world as we know it revolving and seeming to be solid. In the midst of all this hoopla, the one true thing is Truth. Truth is what is, without story, in every golden moment of NOW. In this holy NOW there is no 'on time' and no 'late.' There are no expectations, and no disappointments. There is always appreciation and peace in NOW.
This one true thing, NOW, has many facets or attributes which you can call principles. You can give the idea of principles to your mind to keep it occupied so it doesn't need to weave stories about NOW. These attributes, these principles are like rocks to stand on in the midst of a flood. Peace, Divine Love, Joy, True Substance... these are all living, shining attributes of each holy instant of NOW. When these are directly experienced you know that Truth is true, that these principles are alive, and nothing else is true. This is an endless, joyous unfolding and knowing.
So is this blog late? Does what comes and goes have any truth at all? No. So why do it? Because each day as I write this little blog I give my mind to Truth and explore the principles of Truth that shine within this life. I do it to remain standing in Truth. I do it for me, and for you. No difference.
